He’s an absolute angel.

He is seeking a very special person to give him the love he so rightly deserves. His tough life has not toughened him up one bit. He is still so sweet and gentle. You can tell how eager he is to trust people, the way he lightly nudges his head under your hand for affection.

Mowgli- 5 years, altered, male, 74lbs

As you can plainly see, Mowgli hasn’t always had the easiest life. He was surrendered to our shelter when his previous owner let us know they could no longer care for him. Despite his condition, though, Mowgli has not let anything dampen his spirits. As described by a volunteer dog walker-

Upon examination, our vets noted that Mowgli has severe hair loss, with painful scabs and open sores covering a lot of his body. A fungal culture has been taken just to be safe and results are pending. He is also very underweight. A full medical summary can be provided upon request.

BARCS is OUT of dog space and Mowgli is available immediately for pick-up. This sweet, gentle guy is past due for the best life possible, and we’re determined to give him just that. He’s not asking for a lot, just the simple kindness he deserves. Please let us know if your organization can help!
